Data deletion instructions

You are always in control of your data. This page explains how to delete some or all of the data Just Ask Aly holds about you, including data received from connected platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

Option 1: delete your account in the app (recommended)

  1. Log in at www.justaskaly.com
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account
  3. Confirm the deletion

This permanently deletes your account, your brand profile and voice guide, your uploaded artwork files, interview answers and voice memos, all generated drafts, and the stored access credentials for every connected platform (Shopify, Meta, WhatsApp, Google Drive). Deletion is completed within 30 days. Assets already delivered to your own Google Drive folder remain in your Drive. They are yours.

Option 2: disconnect a single platform

If you only want to remove one connection (for example, Instagram and Facebook) but keep your account:

  1. Log in and go to Settings → Connections
  2. Choose the platform and select Disconnect

We immediately stop all access and delete the stored credentials and platform data for that connection.

Option 3: request deletion by email

Email privacy@justaskaly.com from the address on your account with the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want your whole account deleted or specific data (for example, a particular artwork's files, or one platform connection). We will confirm completion within 30 days.

What we may retain

We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, billing and tax records) and minimal logs needed for security and fraud prevention. These are kept only as long as legally necessary and are never used for any other purpose.
